Dark Emperador Marble Description

As with many other customers, I get much conflicting information regarding Stone (http://g603.net) , Granite (http://tanbrown.org) and (http://maplered.com) Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) applications.  Your web site seems to offer very informative responses that are based on fact.  I have just begun my research for a master bath remodel and (http://maplered.com) would like to use a Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) or Granite (http://tanbrown.org) Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top.  I understand (http://maplered.com) that Granite (http://tanbrown.org) may normally be recommended for Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) tops due to durability and (http://maplered.com) maitenance, however, we like the looks of the Dark Emperador Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) .  The shower and (http://maplered.com) floors will have an ivory and (http://maplered.com) noche color travertine and (http://maplered.com) the Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) seems to match up better than any Granite (http://tanbrown.org) we have seen so far.  Can you provide any feedback on the Dark Emperador Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) with regards to using it for the bathroom and (http://maplered.com) any ongoing maitenance.  I understand (http://maplered.com) we need to use specialized cleaners but is there anything else that we should be aware of?

The alternate is Taupe "Granite (http://tanbrown.org) ".  Do either of these need sealers?  I assume the "lemon test" should only be used on Granite (http://tanbrown.org) and (http://maplered.com) not Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) due to the acidity.

Thank you,

Warwick
